Will mentally-ill folks go to hell?

Let's say that someone came out of a dysfunctional family or had a family history of mental-illness. Will they go to hell? I am not making light of the situation or trying to be controversial. Will mentally-ill folks go to hell?
It is not our place to judge these kinds of things but God's alone.

I Corinthians 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord shall come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make known the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise from God.

God has not authorized us to judge other people's hearts and minds.

When Abraham asked God in the case of Sodom and Gomorrah whether He was going to let the righteous die with the unrighteous it was wonderful how Abraham answered his own question. He said, ';Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?'; This means we can be absolutely confident that whatever God does in the case of the mentally ill or any other person, He will do what is right. Will mentally-ill folks go to hell?
if you really care about hell what don't you make sure you are going to heaven and then you will know if a mentally-ill person is going to hell or not. right now you don't care about heaven or hell , so leave it alone.

If you know someone who is mentally-ill , show some compassion.
Why would you say that? You don't know the struggles these people go through. You live your life perfectly while you don't realize that their are children being bullied, animals being abused, husbands and wives fighting over how they will pay next months bills, elderly men and women dying alone. How about getting over your stupid little theory here and open your eyes to take a look at how much strength these people actually have.
Jesus is the great physician....

2Ti 1:6 Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Not necessarily no. Mental Illnesses are quite often just demons.

(Autism, Alzheimer's, Dementia..etc.)

It's just demonic. It is a result of some sort of a curse.

Which means they can be set free from it.

So no- they don't have to die and go to hell..
what if heaven and hell are descriptions of the two ways humans all walk a common path in this life? the mentally ill are more blessed than anybody; they are happy, gentle and caring people most of the time.
God protects mentally ill. They are going to go to heaven and they are going to be healthy in heaven. However, I believe that applies to only those people who have been mentally ill through the age of accountability
Quite the contrary I think. Mentally ill, physically disabled and other similiarly dysfunctional individuals are SAVED in God's Kingdom because they lacked the mental or physical capacity in this life to choose fully.
no,, because they are not accountable for their actions...just like a new born,,,,they have not reached the age of accountability, so if they die,,,,they will not go to hell.
Yes,if they die without Christ.

I know some retarded people who have gotten saved.Anyone can get saved.
No one here can make that judgement call.
This life is hell enough for them.
if you mean like a disability no they will go to heaven
NO !
