How do handle or react to a friend who is always ill and will not go to the doctor?

A little backround...I have a friend who has had bad stomach issues for years, she also hurt her arm 8 weeks ago, can barely move it and has not been to the doctor. She has not had a bad experience with the medical field so that is not an excuse. If I am slightly or maybe ill, I go to the doctor right away. I hate being sick. I think she likes being sick. I am at the point where I dont want to talk to her and I never ask how She is feeling. Any advice? How do handle or react to a friend who is always ill and will not go to the doctor?
I HATE TO SAY THIS, BUT THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE LIKE HER. IT'S NOT THAT THEY 'LIKE' BEING SICK (I WAS SURPRISED THAT YOU SAID THIS!), THEY JUST DON'T LIKE DOCTORS. I AM THE SAME WAY. I'VE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE, HELL, I'M AND EMT-BASIC, AND A 911 DISPATCHER! I DEAL WITH DR'S AND HOSPITALS ALL DAY LONG, BUT I STILL WONT GO IN!!! I WAIT UNTIL THE PROBLEM GETS SO BAD THAT I HAVE TO GO IN (MY FAMILY FORCES ME TO , LITTERALLY). I ALWAYS FEEL LIKE I'M BEING A BURDEN ON THE ALREADY BURDENED SYSTEM, AND THAT MY PROBLEM IS NOT BAD, AND I'M JUST BEING A BABY. WHEN IN REALITY ALL OF THE PROBLEMS THAT I HAVE ARE QUITE SERIOUS.

SO...IN CONCLUSION...BE NICE TO YOUR FRIEND DON'T DROP HER AS ONE BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T WANT TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL....YOU WOULD BE A VERY POOR FRIEND AND PERSON TO DO THAT.How do handle or react to a friend who is always ill and will not go to the doctor?
a little akward but if you are old enough to drive i would take her myself (ask her first)

or if not tell ur parents and maybe have them contact her parents
I think you might be spot-on about her being a hypochondriac. Unfortunately you can't make her go to a doctor, so the best you can hope for is that ignoring the moaning about being sick will eventually make it go away.
i think that it may be a sympathy act - there are conditions where they will elaborate what happened... tell your friend, in your own way - go see a doctor or stop complaining
